Buying bitcoins from your Blockchain wallet is very easy! You need to log into your wallet and click on BUY BITCOIN on the left menu. Enter the amount you want to buy and you will get the equivalent in Bitcoin. Once you have chosen the desired amount, click on the blue Buy Bitcoin button.

Now, select your country of residence from the drop down menu and click on Continue. You will be informed that an email has been sent to you in order to verify your address. Follow the Verification Link in that email.

After you have successfully verified your email address with the link we mentioned before, you will see the confirmation, Email Verified!. Here you need to accept Blockchain’s Alpha Agreement, Coinify’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by clicking on the box next to Accept. After you have done this, click on Continue.

Next, click on your preferred payment method (Card or Bank Transfer), Card in this case,  and then on Continue. Proceed to check your order details, make sure you agree with all the amounts. Notice that the    Total Cost will be the one charged to your card. Click on Confirm to continue with the transaction and be redirected to the payment provider, iSignthis. Complete the field with your card details (you have the option to save these card details in case you want to use the same card for future transaction.) Once you have filled in all the fields, click on Process Card to start processing your transaction.

You will be redirected to the 3D Secure verification window where you will have to enter the code sent to your phone via SMS. Once you have done this, click on confirm.

The next step is registering your phone. Select the country your phone number is from with the drop down menu by clicking on the flag and then enter your cell phone number, one that allows you to receive international SMS. Click on Send Passcode and allow a few minutes for the code to be sent via SMS. You will see a green banner with the message “A unique One Time Passcode has been sent to your registered number.” Enter the code sent to you phone and click on Register Mobile.

Notice that up until now you have the option of clicking on Finish Later in order to pause the transaction and resume later on. But if you click on Register Mobile, the order will be processed immediately.

Now you can see your transactions current status on Order History under Buy Bitcoin. It will remain in review for a few moments until all the information is verified.

Once all the information is verified, the order status will change to Purchased and you will also find it under Transaction History. Bitcoins will be delivered to your wallet in a few moments.

Identity Verification

Once the total amount of your previous orders (completed or not) reaches or goes over € 3000 you will be asked to upload verification documents which are required under Government Anti Money Laundering regulations. Click on Upload Document or use the Drag and drop option to upload a document you have already stored on your computer or smartphone. Bear in mind that in case of being scanned documents or image like files, they need to be of high quality and legible. Once the file is uploaded, click on Next to complete the process.

Document verification is handled by our Compliance Department and takes approximately 48hs hours depending on how busy they are.

Important

Until the documents are uploaded and all steps from the registration/authentication completed the transaction stays in a pending status and bitcoins can be sent only once the whole process is closed, the documents reviewed and approved by our compliance team.

If the process is not closed and the full procedure completed within 72 business hours from the time the order has been created, the order expires and an automatic refund is issued and sent back to the customer's account. Note it might take a few more days for the refund to show on your bank account.
